Women in Tech Profile

Are you a teenager or middle schooler reading a book about coding? Then there’s a good chance it was written by Kiki Prottsman. Kiki is the author of six best-selling books about learning to code, and as a curriculum developer at Code.org, she has been in the forefront of the fight for gender equity and social responsibility in the academic and corporate computing environments. She has worked with Disney to develop coding tutorials such as Moana’s Wayfinding with Code adventure, and she is on the advisory board of Wonder Workshops Robotics, the makers of the super-popular Dash and Dot. And somehow, in her free time, she makes videos about learning to code for her YouTube channel, KikiVsIT.

You can read more about her work here.
